Umeco plc, a leading international provider of value-added services, components and composite materials primarily to the aerospace & defence industry, announces that its Repair and Overhaul division subsidiary AEM Limited ("AEM") has acquired the entire share capital of Aeromedic from Mr Lawrence Harding, its founder and sole shareholder.

Aeromedic supplies, maintains and overhauls on-board medical kits and therapeutic oxygen equipment principally to airlines. The business is highly complementary to AEM's safety equipment business unit, which manufactures the oxygen equipment sold by Aeromedic.
