QATAR AIRWAYS EXTENDS AEROMEDIC INNOVATIONS CONTRACT WITH NEW ENHANCED MEDICAL KITS

Qatar Airways, one of the fastest growing carriers in the Gulf has now ordered a quantity of enhanced on-board medical kits from Aeromedic Innovations to complement their First Aid Kits that Aeromedic Innovations has supplied since 1998. These new kits are being delivered to the Airbus final assembly line at Toulouse, France for incorporation on the airline's new fleet of Airbus

Qatar Airways has taken advantage of Aeromedic Innovation's unique kit refurbishment and maintenance support programme. Under this arrangement Aeromedic Innovations manages the upkeep of the kits by periodically taking them out of front-line service to keep medicines fully up to date and replenishing as necessary with new contents, before re-delivery to the airline.

Qatar Airways is one of several Middle East Airlines that have selected the Aeromedic Innovations enhanced medical kit and its support service. Other customer airlines in the region include Emirates, Kuwait Airways, Royal Jordanian and Saudia. To cater for this increasing business in the region, Aeromedic Innovations is in discussions with a number of organisations to establish a local base for kit refurbishment.
